Webster Magnet receives Title I money from the federal government. Each school that receives this money is required to have a Family-School Agreement. Its purpose is to create a stronger partnership between the home and the school by making expectations clear. The ultimate goal is to help all students achieve at the highest level.
As a student I promise to:
• Be at school by 8:05 a.m. every school day.
• Follow the school rules respectfully and responsibly.
• Work hard to do my best on all my schoolwork every day.
• Read 25 or more books this school year.
• Learn, practice, and follow Webster's School Values: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.
Student Signature/Date
As a parent/guardian I promise to:
• Have my child to school by 8:05 a.m. every school day.
• Support my child and reinforce Webster's School Values and school rules.
• Set aside time for my child to study every day.
• Read with my child and let my child see me read.
• Make sure my child brings everything he/she needs for school.
• Attend conferences, communicate, and cooperate with the teacher.
Parent/Guardian Signature/Date
As a teacher I promise to:
• Provide motivating and interesting learning experiences that appropriately challenge each student.
• Teach Webster's school rules and School Values: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.
• Communicate and cooperate with each parent.
• Provide opportunities to read and let my students see me read.
• Set clear expectations and instructional goals and evaluate carefully.
Teacher Signature/Date
As a principal I promise to:
• Create a welcoming climate for students, parents, and staff.
• Ensure a safe and orderly learning environment by promoting adherence to school rules.
• Communicate to students and parents the school’s mission and goals.
• Promote the importance of reading and let staff and students see me read.
• Reinforce the partnership between the students, parents, and staff.
• Encourage and model Webster's School Values: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.
